Hey, guys! This post contains some very exciting information for my Gleek followers, so take the time to read it, and reblog it if you can. The word needs to be spread about this!
If you haven’t heard about my friend Eleanor and what she affectionately calls her “Glee Zine” The Gleek, hold onto your Warbler ties and wayfarers.
The Gleek is a fan zine (a zine is a self-published piece of work, typically smaller than an average-length magazine) run by Glee fans, written for Glee fans, to share experiences and extra information about the show that we all know and love.
The second issue of The Gleek has just been completed, and Eleanor is making a mailing list for Gleeks just like you all over the world! And here’s the best part: it doesn’t cost a thing. Eleanor is sending copies to people who are as passionate about this show as she is, with absolutely no cost to anyone but herself.
The first issue (which Eleanor will also send to you, free of charge) included interviews with Doris Cellar, Warbler Luke Edgemon, Tyler Shields, Elona Finlay, a review of the Glee Tour 2011 and an interview with Denisse Lopez.
The second issue which has just been completed includes

• A review of The Space Tour by Elona Finlay, who performed with the Starkids in NY and Canada.
• An interview with Warbler Dominic Barnes.
• Interview with the extraordinary band Shoot The Freak
• Interview with the famous CP Coulter, author of Dalton
• Interview with the talented designer, Jump Jirakaweekul.
• Interview with Courtney, aka Court4Short or Torn_Portfolio. 
• Reviews by fellow Gleeks.
• & a review of Eleanor’s private Meet & Greet with Cory Monteith, after winning the Australia’s Biggest Gleek contest. 

Eleanor was able to give copies of both issues to Glee star Cory Monteith, during her 20-minute meeting with him!

She has also been in contact with a representative from the Fox team and they will hopefully be promoting the Zine on the official Glee Facebook page! 
This zine is for everyone in the fandom to read and enjoy, and hopefully- contribute to! I, (blainersbrunsman/disneyprinceblaine) will hopefully be joining as a new member of The Gleek writing team! Everyone is encouraged to send their input to any member of the Gleek team, with any ideas or suggestions for articles, interviews, or writing in their own experiences with Glee.
